HASTI is providing a one-day professional development opportunity for Indiana teachers to learn about the new Indiana Science Standards. These standards are based on the Next Generation Science Standards published in 2013. During the one-day event Indiana teachers will lead break-out sessions introducing and sharing their experiences of using NGSS in their K-12 science classrooms. In addition, time will be provided to dissect the new standards and develop ideas, phenomena, and pedagogy targeted to update Indiana science classrooms.
Indiana science teachers are invited to submit a proposal for the conference. If you have experience in using NGSS in your classroom, your expertise is needed. Submit your program proposal for one the following strands.
