NGSS MIni Conference, April 15 - Exhibitor Registration

HASTI is providing a one-day professional development opportunity for Indiana teachers to take their learning about the NGSS standards to the next level.  These standards are based on the Next Generation Science Standards published in 2013.  During the one-day event Indiana teachers will lead break-out sessions that lead teachers through NGSS lessons, so they can experience what it looks and feels like in action!  In addition, time will be provided to dissect the new standards and develop ideas, phenomena, and pedagogy targeted to update Indiana science classrooms.

Indiana science teachers are invited to submit a proposal for the conference.  If you have experience in using NGSS in your classroom, your expertise is needed.  Submit your program proposal for one the following strands.

Who can join us as a vendor?  

Any vendors who have materials that can support teachers as they work to learn more about the NGSS standards.  

Booth space is $100 and includes two chairs and a table.  Electricity is available upon request. 

Deadline for registration is:  Aprlil 1, 2023

Commercial Table, Not-for-Profit. Government, University/College Information:

Exhibit tables are available on a first come, first served basis.
Each space* includes:

  • One 6’ table
  • Two chairs
  • One 45-minute presentation slot.  Program proposals must be submitted separately and are subject to approval by the Conference Planning Committee.  Deadline for submission of proposal is March 15, 2023.

All tables will be placed in the hallways between the rooms being used for presentations.  There is NO diagram available.



Payments:

Payments for booth/table rentals can be made by check or credit card. Credit card payments will be processed through Wild Apricot using Authorize.net. All checks should be made payable to HASTI and sent to:

Rules & Regulations:

1.  Any exhibitor selling merchandise agrees to abide by all state & local tax regulations, and, if necessary, for collecting and submitting payment of sales tax to the appropriate legal authority.

2.  Exhibitors, or their agents, shall not injure or deface the walls or floors of the buildings, booths, or the equipment of the booths. When such damage appears, the exhibitor is liable to the owner of the property so damaged.
